Mrs. Cora B Stoglin Griffin, 78, was born August 21, 1912 to the late Judge Stoglin and Sallie White in Smithville, Texas. She was called home on March 8, 1991. She was a longtime resident of Seagraves,Texas and a member of the Assembly of God Church. She married Henry Griffin, Sr. on March 5,1930, who preceded her in death on May 5, 1980. She is survived by two sons: Henry (Doris) Griffin of Seagraves,Tx, Robert (Shirley) Griffin of Hobbs,NM; One Adopted son, W.C. Williams of San Fernando, California; Four Daughters: Frankie Haynes of Round Rock,Texas, Alveria (Fred) Wright of Taylor,Texas, Sallie (Clarence) Davis and Hattie (Jessie) Thomas of Seagraves, Texas; Five Brothers: Judge Stoglin, Sylvester (Pearl) Stoglin, Neil Stoglin, and Sam Rodgers of Taylor,Texas, Jimmy Stoglin of Odessa,Texas; and Two Sisters: Tommie C. Jackson and Annie Ruth Black of Taylor,Texas;51 grandchildren; 91 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and loving friends.
