Second 'Sonny' Chiaraluna, 75, Leesburg, FL, died Sat., Feb. 13, 2010, at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Born September 1, 1934 in Dunningtown, PA, the son of Paris & Anna (Rebich) Chiaraluna. Second was a 1954 graduate of Perry-Lower Tyrone High School (now Frazier High School). After attending Johns Hopkins Univ. and Carnegie Mellon Univ., Second earned his B.S. from the Univ. of Pittsburgh. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army & U.S. Air Force Reserves. Member of the Sons of Italy Grand Lodge, Perryopolis, PA. After more than 40 years as an electrical engineer, Second retired from Union Switch & Signal. Husband of Sarah (Pyle) Chiaraluna, and father of Debora Chiaraluna; Tina Veon & husband, Mark; Sandy Boyle & husband, Dennis; Dan Chiaraluna & wife, May; and Linda Andreassi & husband, Shawn. Also 12 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; sisters: Janet Knight & husband, William, and Mildred Lynn & husband, Ralph. Glenn-Kildoo Funeral Home, Cranberry Twp., PA. Interment with military rites, National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville.
