Died August 4, 2009, in Denver, CO. Born July 31, 1938, she was the daughter of Dorothy Keller Iliff and William Seward Iliff, Jr. and granddaughter of Alberta Bloom Iliff and William Seward Iliff.
She is survived by her sister Suzy Iliff Witzler and aunt Alberta Iliff Shattuck of Denver, and her daughter Sue Funkhouser of Los Angeles.
Bamby was educated at St. Agnes School, Alexandria, VA; Sweet Briar College, Sweet Briar, VA; and earned a B.S. in psychology from Colorado College. She was an active member of Kappa Alpha Theta sorority; Tuesday Morning Class; and a 24-year volunteer for Children's Hospital Auxiliary consignment shop, La Cache.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, August 12, at 11:00 a.m., at Fairmount Mortuary's Chapel in the Pines. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Denver Dumb Friends League or the Denver Zoo. Published in Denver Post on August 9, 2009
