Rev. Msgr. Joseph H. Hoernshemeyer was a priest of the Diocese of Buffalo, New York and founding pastor of St. James Church in Buffalo, which he served for 52 Years. He retired in 1968. He studied for the priesthood in Innsbruck, Austria, and was ordained on August 8 1908 by Bishop Colton. He was 88 years old when he died.
