In 1929, after many appointments as Assistant Pastor, he was made pastor of St. Mary in Canasaraga. In 1937, he became pastor of St. Nicholas in North Java. In 1952 he was appointed chaplain of Kenmore Mercy Hospital and he died there after a short illness.
