Son of the late Thomas Calvin Beane, Sr., and Allie Yow, he was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He was retired from Wallace Trucking Company. He was a member of Tabernacle United Methodist Church where his funeral was held Janaury 15, 2010, with The Rev. John Prine, Sr., and The Rev. Robert Ray officiating. He was survived by his wife Betsy; three sons, Tommy Beane (Pam), Randy Pearson (Cecilia) and Tim Pearson (Maria); four daughters, Jackie Robinson, Teresa Quick (Gene), Udora Smith (Keith) and Jeane Pearson; two brothers, Wayne Beane (Grace) and Bobby Beane (Sherrill); a sister, Martha Horton (Gene) and an extended family of relatives.
