Cora May Parker was the daughter of Nancy Ellen Hagar and David Oscar Parker. She was born in Old Imperial Calcasieu Parish on September 1, 1895. She moved to Lake Charles in 1902. She was a graduate of Lake Charles High School and USL. She married Arthur Donald Bulloch from Lake Charles. They were the guardians of cousin Beatrice Farque, whose parents had died. Cora taught school for several years. Subsequently, she worked for Drs. Holcombe and Barham for 48 years, was a former member of the Southwest Louisiana Camellia Society and was an active member of First United Methodist Church since 1909. Mrs. Bullock served in the children's Sunday School department, on the UMW and the DMA for many years.

Cora May Parker Bulloch died Monday, May 10, 1993, in a Lake Charles hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Donald Bullock. Survivors were one daughter, Beatrice Farque Bulloch Warwick of Beaumont, Texas #60112255; and three grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mrs. Arthur D. (Cora) Bullock, 97, were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 13, 1993 in the First United Methodist Church in Lake Charles. The Revs. Steven Spurlock and Carl Leug officiated. Burial was in Orange Grove Cemetery under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home.
