RITES HELD FOR MRS. ANNA BEUTLER
Funeral services were held Monday, December 2nd at the Lutheran Church in Orchard Nebr. for Mrs. Anna Beutler at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. D.L. Braunersreuther officiant. Pallbears were Henry Leiding, Johnny Schwager, Carroll Clifton, Ray Clifton, Floyd Menning and George Bonge. Interment was in the Orchard Cemetery.
Anna Dorothea Beutler, born Anna Dorothea Miller on October 4, 1885 at Yutan, Nebr. to Maggie D. and Heine J. Miller and passed away at Keahaven Rest Home in Neligh, November 29th at the age of 89 years, 1 month, and 25 days.
She was baptised and confirmed in the Lutheran faith at Yuta, Nebr. On Friday February 27, 1907 she was united in marriage to Fred Beutler at Yutan on February 27, 1907 where they made their home on a farm until 1926 when they purchased the farm home 1/2 mile west of Orchard where the couple lived for 36 years. One year after Mr. Beutler death she moved to Orchard where she made her home until entering Keahaven Rest Home at Neligh about 2 1/2 years ago.
Three sons were born to this union, Elmer of Kent, Wash., Edward of Orchard and Lloyd of Norfolk.
Survivors include her three sons, four grandchildren, six great grandchildren, 1 brother, Albert Miller of Torrence, Cailf., 3 half sister, Henrietta Lane of Denver, Marie McCone of Tuson, Alice Herb of Arvada Colo.
She is proceded in death by her husband Fred, 7 brothers and sister including her twin sister Katie Russell who died in 1946.
Her home was her castle, she was a loving mother and grandmother.
