As far as Lucinda Bailey being full blooded Indian. I don't believe this is correct based on what I have found:
Lucinda Bailey Adams is a daughter of Samuel Bailey and Nancy Runyon.
Lucinda’s father, Samuel Bailey, and two of his brothers (John and Joseph) married three sisters by the name of Runyon.
Her mother, Nancy Runyon, was the daughter of William Runyon and Nancy Carpenter. Nancy’s Carpenter’s father, a farmer by the name of Erve Carpenter had 5 daughters. “One day he found an Indian Boy in his barn and tamed him and kept him in his home. The boy was taught to be like the White man.” The boy, a Cherokee Indian named William "Cherokee Billie" Runyon, ended up marrying one of farmers’ five daughters. He and Nancy had children. “Reatha Bailey Shepherd Carpenter tells: Family traditions says the sisters were half Indian and half Carpenter.” Three of these children were the "Runyon" girls that married the Bailey brothers. John Bailey married Catherine Runyon; Joseph Bailey married Jennie Runyon; and Samuel Bailey married Nancy Runyon.
Nancy Carpenter, Lucinda’s mother was the daughter of Erve Carpenter, a Caucasian man and Nancy Rodger Carpenter, a Caucasian woman. This Nancy Carpenter married William "Cherokee Billie" Runyon. They had the 3 Runyon daughters that married the Bailey brothers.

Lucinda Bailey was a full-blood Indian. Her first husband (possibly named Watkins) in Kentucky had made arrangements to move the family to Kansas, but he died before they were to leave. No wagon train would let her ride in a wagon with them since she was an Indian, but they would let her children ride. She walked behind the train from Kentucky to Kansas.
After the wagon train got to Kansas, she married a Mr. Marshall.
Later, about 1899, she married Johnson M. Adams, who had been twice widowed. In the 1900 Census they were living in Sun City and she was the mother of four children, three were living. One daughter was named Elizabeth Watkins.

Mary(?) Lucinda Bailey, daughter of Samuel Bailey and Nancy (Runyon) Bailey, was born on Oct. 7, 1843, probably in Floyd County, Kentucky, as that was where the family was living in 1850. Her family was living in Magoffin County (formerly a part of Floyd Co), Kentucky, on the 1860 Federal Census, and had moved to Breathitt County, KY, on the 1870 Census. Lucinda Bailey was united in marriage to Isaac Wadkins, son of William Wadkins and [Mary]Elizabeth (Davis) Wadkins, on March 11, 1863, in Magoffin County, KY, according to the Kentucky Compiled Marriages 1851-1900. The Wadkins family also resided in Floyd Co., KY (1850), Magoffin Co., KY (1860), and on the August 2, 1870 Federal Census, Isaac and Lucinda are in Breathitt Co., KY, and are the parents of daughters, Elizabeth and Mary "Polly", with Samuel W. to be born later that year. Sometime between 1870 and 1874, Isaac passes away. It is thought that he is buried in Floyd County, KY.
Lucinda (Bailey) Wadkins marries Johnson C. Marshall on March 14, 1876, in Magoffin County, KY. He is a now without his first wife, Barshaba (Adams), so he and Lucinda move to Barber County, Kansas, with Lucinda's 3 children and are listed on the 1880 Federal Census in Sun City Township, Barber County, Kansas. Elizabeth, Mary "Polly", and Samuel W. Wadkins are listed as stepchildren to Johnson C. Marshall. Johnson C. Marshall passes away on January 7, 1899, and he is buried in Barber County, Kansas. Lucinda (Bailey) Wadkins Marshall becomes the wife of the Reverend J. M. Adams in 1899, and is listed as his wife on the 1900 Federal Census in Sun City Township, Barber County, Kansas. She is listed as the mother of 4 children, 3 are still living. Lucinda passes away on July 1, 1911 and is buried in Barber Co., Kansas.
