Marizetta Kathryn Hudgens, 83, of Greenville, Missouri, formerly of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, died Tuesday, June 26, 2007, at the Jefferson Memorial Hospital in Festus.

Mrs. Hudgens was born September 22, 1923, at Ellsinore, Missouri. She was a former nurse's aide.

In 1942 she was married to Allen Edward Hudgens at Poplar Bluff. He preceded her in death in 1983.

Surviving are three sons, Jimmie Allen Hudgens of Kansas City, Richard David Hudgens of Fairdealing and Randy Dewitt Hudgens of Greenville; five daughters, Sonja Lee Moore of Hillsboro, Barbara Alice Russell and Glenes Lou Allison of Greenville, Sandy Rose Clark of LaPorte, Texas, Lois Ilene Clark of Festus and a granddaughter raised as a daughter, Jamie Russell; four brothers, Claude Edward Murray of Florissant, James Wilson Murray of Oakland City, Indiana, Robert Nathaniel Murray of Cape Girardeau and Dick Allen Murray of Poplar Bluff; twenty-one grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband Mrs. Hudgens was preceded in death by her parents, Reverend C. E. and Mary Jane Wilson Murray; two sisters, Verneal Timmons and Freida Adams; and three brothers, Aubrey Murray, Ira Murray and Bill Murray.
