January 21, 1904 Spring Valley Sun - Harry Britell, an old and well known citizen of this place, died Wednesday, January 20, from the results of an operation for strangulated hernia, which operation was performed as a last resort. The funeral occurs today at 2 pm. He will be buired in Poplar Hill Cemetery. he leaves a wife and one child Mrs. Charles Bryants. He was a solider in the war and was a quite, retiring man, honest and kindhearted.
