Eunie B. Frakes, age 86, passed away February 17, 2010 in Arcadia, Fl.
Mrs. Frakes was born in Rochester, KY April 28, 1923.
She and her husband Rev. Walter L. Frakes moved to Arcadia 22 years ago.
Eunie was a homemaker. She enjoyed knitting, traveling, doing word finder puzzles, and gardening. She was of a member of the Church of the Nazarene, Arcadia.
Survivors are a son; Michael Frakes, Arcadia, Fl. and a daughter LaVetta (David) Miller, Beaverville, IL. She also leaves 17 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Grandson Anthony "Tony" (Renee) Maines, and great grand son David Maines, Arcadia, Fl. have been the caregiver for their grandmother for the past five years.
Eunie is preceded in death by her beloved husband Reverend Walter L. Frakes, in 1999 and a son Monte L. Frakes in 2008.
A Celebration of Eunie's life will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Monday, February 22, 2010 at the Church of the Nazarene, Arcadia, Fl. with Rev. Ted Stanton officiating.
Eunie will be laid to rest beside her husband in Bay Pines National Cemetery, St. Petersburg, Fl.
