Almina Eunice Copeland was born in Benton, Saline Co., Arkansas on June 16, 1891, to Charles Ellis Copeland and Ada Ann Fenno. She had eight siblings.

She married in 1910, in Roger Mills County, Oklahoma, to George Jefferson Anderson, who was born January 7, 1888, in Hemphill County, Texas, the son of John Henry Anderson and Martha Emma Wilson. He preceded her in death November 11, 1937. They had five sons.

Almina was the daughter of a western legend. Her father was, Federal U.S. Deputy Marshall, Charlie Copeland, who covered a wide territory from Ft. Smith, Arkansas through Indian Territory, Oklahoma, tracking and jailing, or delivering to the hangman, murdering outlaws, train and stage coach robbers, and renegade Indians. He migrated with his family from Ft. Smith, Arkansas, to Cheyenne, Oklahoma about the year 1909.

She married and settled on a farm with her husband, in Roger Mills County, Oklahoma where she raised her family of sons.

Almina died February 12, 1976, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 84 years, and is buried beside her husband, George, in Summit View Cemetery, Guthrie, Logan Co., Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her husband and two sisters, Beula May Copeland, in 1907, and Edna R. Copeland, in 1908.
