Miss Vivian Ruth Gilmore, 18-year-old daughter of Newton Gilmore, city street commissioner
, died last week at the Long Hospital in Indiannpolis.
A student at Indiana University, Miss Gilmore was a member of Phi Mu sorority. She was graduated from University School. Death was caused by chronic colitis.
Survivors include the parents, Mr. and Mrs. Newton Gilmore, 908 north Indiana avenue; three half brothers, John Gilmore, Ross Gilmore, and Reed Gilmore, all of Clarks Hill; the grandfather, James Gilmore of Bloomington, and three aunts, Miss Bessie Branam, Mrs. William Braden, and Mrs. Ellen Gilmore, all of Bloomington.
