GEORGE CLAYPOOL DIES OF HEART ATTACK
George Claypool, a prominent farmer of near Clarksville, died suddenly of a heart attack about noon Monday. He was driving his car to Clarksville but had stopped at the Liffick farm when the fatal attack occurred.
The funeral was held at 10:30 o'clock this morning, with Rev. Harry Goekler officiating. Burial was in the Clarksville Cemetery.
The deceased was 59 years old and is survived by his wife, Clara, and one daughter, Mrs. Harry Murphy of near Marshall and one son, Austin, of Arcola.

GEORGE W. CLAYPOOL
George W. Claypool, son of John and Cynthia Claypool, was born in Dolson township, August 8, 1879, and died July 3, 1939, at the age of 59 years, 10 months and 25 days.
On February 22, 1902 he was united in marriage to Clara Clapp and to this union was born two children, one daughter, Mrs. Harry Murphy and one son, Austin of Arcola.
Besides his wife and children he leaves three grandchildren, George Murphy, Mary Jule and Nancy Helen Claypool, whom he dearly loved, also one brother, Melvin Claypool of Scottville, Michigan, one sister, Mrs. Estella Kohl of Chicago and Mrs. Mary Goekler of Marshall, a cousin, who was as near to him as a sister, several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
Early in life he obeyed the teachings of the gospel and united with the Salem Church of God and remained a faithful and active member until death. His life has been lived, his labors are ended and now he sleeps in death awaiting the morn of the resurrection when sin, sorrow, sickness and death shall be no more.
Funeral services were held from the Marrs Funeral Home in Marshall Wednesday morning at 10:30 o'clock with Eld. Harry Goekler officiating. Burial was in the Clarksville Cemetery.
