Mrs. John Munson of Lake City Dies
Mrs. John Munson, a resident of Lake City for nearly fifty years, died Tuesday evening at Warren after a long illness. Funeral services are incomplete, but friends may call at the VanAken Funeral Home, Ridgway, beginning Thursday afternoon.
Mrs. Munson, the former Selma Nelson, was born in Sweden, Feb. 23, 1877 and came to America in 1890. She was formerly employed in DuBois. Following her marriage to John Munson, she had resided in Lake City since 1903.
Mrs. Munson attended the Methodist church in Lake City and was well known in the community.
Surviving are four sons, Arthur of Apollo, Pa.; Carl and August Munson of Lake City, and Nels Munson of Wyoming, Pa.
Mr. Munson died in 1946.
