Emil A. Munson

Emil Arthur Munson of Portland Mills, died Friday morning in the Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh, following an illness of three months.

Mr. Munson was born September 19, 1904 in Lake City. He was a former State Policeman and a retired gas station owner.

He was a member of the Lake City Methodist Church and a former resident of Apollo, Pa.

His wife, Mildred Erickson Munson preceded him in death on August 3, 1973.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Ellen Mari Skomp, of Wilkes-Barre, Pa., and a son, Emil Arthur Jr., of Tampa, Fla. Also surviving are two brothers, Carl and August, both of Lake City.

Funeral Services for Emil Munson will be held at 1 p.m. from the Lake City Methodist Church with Rev. Lavern Howard officiating. Interment will follow in Lake City Cemetery. Friends are being received at the Paul Meehan Funeral Home in Ridgway from 7 to 9 tonight and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 on Sunday.
