From obituary: "Mary Presher died peacefully in her home at the age of 102. Mary was a vibrant personality, loved any kind of activity that brought people together, and was a fabulous cook. She was born in Covington, Oklahoma back before that part of the country had electricity, the youngest of the ten children of Jessee and Mary Jayne. She grew up in Enid, Oklahoma and then moved out to San Diego and married Harold (Hal) Presher. The lived int he Kensington area of San Diego for about 75 years. She loved it there. She will be remembered by her family as a voracious card player, a woman who knew her mind and was not afraid to speak it, a person who was able to change as times changed, and a really great cook - her pies are legendary." Survived by children Rob and Roberta, six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren. A daughter, Sharon and her husband Hal predeceased her.
