Mary Elizabeth "Betty" Hamilton, 71, of Olney, died at 7:22 p.m., Thursday, June 2, 1994, at Richland Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Hamilton was born March 8, 1923, in Vanderburgh County, Ind., the daughter of Robert and Alice (Sanders) Higgins.
She married Rex Hamilton Oct. 11, 1941, in Evansville, Ind.
She was a retired bookkeeper of Bridgeport Drilling Co. and a member of the Elm Street Christian Church. She was also a member of the Business and Professional Womens Organization and Oil Club.
She is survived by her husband, of Olney; a son, Daniel Hamilton of Olney; a daughter, Pat Jones, of Phoenix, Ariz.; a granddaughter, Kassandra Jones-Clark, and two great-grandchildren, Michael and Jesse.
Mrs. Hamilton was preceded in death by her parents.
