Found birthdate listed as 31 Dec 1883 which is different than date on the marker. Married 17 Feb 1906 to Charlotte Henrietta Goff by Father Zumbrush in the priest's house in Lidgerwood, Richland Co, ND. They had three children: Charlotte, Leonard and Walter. He worked on the railroad all his life, retiring a few years before his death. At the time of his WWI draft registration, he was living in Ellenwood, Dickey Co, ND and was a section foreman for the Great Northern Railway.
