Mrs. Odessa Brown, age 77, of Crockett, passed away Staurday, February 1,2002, in the Clairmont Nursing Home in Tyler. Mrs. Brown was born May 28, 1924 in Lovelady and she had lived in Crockett most of her lifetime. Mrs. Brown was a Tax Accessor Collector for Houston County and a member of the First United Methodist Church.Survivors include children Wayne Brown, and wife Joyce, of the Toodlands, Susan Johnson, of Tyler, Debbie Connaroe, and husband Rick, of lufkin, David Brown, and wife Julie, of Tyler; eight grandchildren; broth Harry Driskell, and wife Mattie, of Lovelady; sisters Hazel Platt, and Husband Robert, of Galveston; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.Preceded in dath by husband Harry Brown.
