Marlou J. Adams, of Derby Lake, Stanton, Mich., died Monday, Feb. 20, 2006 in Michigan.
She was born in Marion, N.C., on Oct. 11, 1927, the daughter of Robert L. and Blanche Mull Duncan. She was a retired bookkeeper, who volunteered her time doing tax preparation for seniors through AARP and was a member of the Quilted Friends at Sheridan Community Hospital and the Beta Sigma Phi sorority.
She is survived by her children, Debbie (Wes) Rasmussen of Sheridan, Mich., Patti Adams and Jim Atwood of New Orleans, Greg (Robin) Adams of Walland, Tenn., and Ken (Denise) Adams of Ossipee, N.H.; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Cynthia, in 2003; one brother; and one sister.
Memorial services will be held at Woodside Church of God, Greenville, S.C., Friday, Feb. 24, 2006, at 3 p.m., with the Rev. Dennis Reid officiating. Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery, Greenville, S.C.
