From; Buse Funeral Home Wedsite.

Elizabeth Evelyn Eicherly, Was born in Harrisburg but at the age of 7 the 1930 census shows her living in East Hanover Twp. Dauphin County.

There she was living with Parents; Harry C. Eicherly, [43] & Nema M. Eicherly, [38] as well as grandparents[?] Benjamin H. Eicherly [71] & Sara J. Enger [73]. She was found in the MS Hershey Junior & Senior High School. I believe its the school founded by M.S. Hershey.

The above obit never mentioned her service. She worked for and probably earned her nursing degree at the Harrisburg Hospital School of Nursing, Harrisburg Pa. She was the author of "Living and Nursing in a Fallout Shelter," copyrighted 1965. I did some checking in other websites and found this info.
