OBITUARY - Plain Dealer, Wabash (IN) - Friday, March 28, 2003

WINONA LAKE, Ind.--Eunice E. Knotts, 93, 263 Grace Village Drive, Winona Lake, died at 3 a.m. Thursday, March 27, 2003, at Grace Village Health Care.

She was born Oct. 22, 1909, in Evans City, Pa., to George and Elizabeth Rose (Schlemmer) Stone Wilson. She married Gene Knotts in Wabash, on Sept. 28, 1930. He preceded her in death Sept. 7, 1997.

A former Wabash resident, Mrs. Knotts was a homemaker and had lived in Pierceton. She was a member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, Warsaw, and was a member of Rural Neighbors Club, Missionary Society, and Wabash TOPS Club.

Surviving are a son, David Knotts, Ludington, Mich.; two daughters, Donna Landis, LaOtto, and Barbara Waye, Henderson, Nev.; 13 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. One son, one daughter and a brother are deceased.

Services are at 10 a.m. Monday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, with the Rev. Don Poyser and Pastor Steve Gray officiating. Burial will be in Falls Cemetery. Friends may call from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the chapel. Preferred memorials are to Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, CR 400S, Warsaw, Ind. 46580.
