Marie J. Crouse, 66, died Friday, February 19, 2010, at her home. She was the loving wife of Andrew R. Crouse, to whom she was married for 20 years. Born November 11, 1943, in Magee, Miss., she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Ernestine (Williamson) Stroud. Surviving, in addition to her husband, are two daughters, Sherri Martin of York and Lisa Kilgore; two sons, Shawn Patrick Farmer and James Kilgore; several grandchildren; and a brother, Benjamin Stroud, living in the Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas area. Marie's life will be celebrated at a memorial service to be held Sunday, March 7, 2010, at 3 p.m. at the St. James Lutheran Church, 109 York St., Gettysburg, with the Revs. Jeanette Leisk and Marty Stevens officiating. Private interment will be in the Memorial Garden at the Lutheran Theological Seminary Gettysburg at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the Music and/or Youth Ministry of St. James Lutheran Church, 109 York St., Gettysburg, PA 17325.
