AYNOR -- Vonita Barnhill Johnson, 87, of the Berea community, died Monday, March 16, 1998, at Conway Hospital after an illness.
She was born in Galivants Ferry, a daughter of the late Wade and Creola Huggins Barnhill.
She was a member of Happy Home Baptist Church, where she was a member of the WMU and was a former Sunday school teacher. She was also a member of Aynor Senior Citizens Group.
Survivors include a sister, Lillian Phelps of Walterboro; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be at 3 p.m. today at Happy Home Baptist Church. Burial will be in Rehobeth Methodist Church Cemetery.
