Dale Doner 79, resident of Seneca, Missouri died Saturday morning, February 20,2010 in Joplin.
Dale Doner was born January 24, 1931 at Seneca, Missouri to Fredrick Henry and Maggie Elizabeth (Eddings) Doner.
He was raised and received his education in Seneca.
Dale was involved in the retail grocery business most of his life.
He was employed with the IGA in Seneca, and Food Fair also in Seneca, Minson's Grocery in Commerce, Oklahoma, IGA in Diamond, Missouri and IGA in Galena, Kansas.
He was a member of the Seneca Church of God.
Dale is survived by his daughter Debbie Gilstrap and her husband Jim of Seneca; three sons, Mike Doner and his wife Doris of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, Tim Doner and his wife Susie of Joplin and Terry Doner of Paola, Kansas; one sister Betty Snow and her husband Bob of Seneca; 7 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Helen Doner in 1999, 4 sisters Gladys White, Nadine Pierce, Maxine Muth and Beulah Tucker.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at the Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home Chapel with Mrs. Vivian Fink and Rev. Paul Handle officiating.
Casket escorts will include; Mike Doner, Tim Doner, Jared Robinson, Jason Collier, Mikey Lawson and Chance Gibson.
Interment will be in the Seneca Cemetery under the direction of the Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home.
