Robert Uriah Gann was born Oct 31, 1874 and passed away in his home after a long illness on August 25, 1944
On Feb. 21, 1896 he was united in marriage to
Miss Lunda louise Johns. to this union 8 children were born, two preceded him in death.
He professed his faith in Christ at an early age and remained a faithful worker in the Shady Grove Church.
Surviving is his wife Lunda L. Gann . four daughters, Mrs Grace McCoy of Wichita, Kansas, Mrs. Demma Kissee, Mrs Lola Forgey, Mrs Pauline Farwell all of Sparta, two sons, Lester & Leo of Sparta, 23 grandchildren, 2 gr grandchildren.
Funeral services were held in the Shady Grove Church with the Rev. Holloway officiating, burial was in the Shipman Cemetery under the direction of Chaffin Funeral Home.
