Floyd (Toy) Ralph Black, 74, of Milton, WV, went to be with his Heavenly Father after a long courageous battle with cancer on February 8, 2010.
He was born September 17, 1935, to the late Nardia Black and Essie Faulkner. He was also preceded in death by very special sister-in-law, Ruth Young.

Floyd was a retired security guard at Heck's warehouse and a glass blower at Sloan Glass. He spent his leisure time telling coon and deer hunting tales. He was a member and deacon at Mason Street United Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by an infant son; daughter, Frances Mae; brother Henry Black; and sister, Pansy Chapman.

He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Reba Erwin Black; daughters Rhonda Neal and Sheila and (James) Dailey all of Milton, WV. He has two special grandsons, Kyle O'Dell and Caleb Dailey, whom he loved dearly, both of Milton, WV; a special son and daughter-in-law, Howard and Dottie Hunter of Culloden, WV; a sister, Susie Wallace of Milton, WV; brothers Jim Faulkner of Teays Valley, WV, and Froud Faulkner, special sister-in-laws Yvonne Lanham of St. Albans, WV, Donna McNeely of Bancroft, WV, Edna Lewis and Joyce Young of Hurricane, WV; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 10, 2010, at Allen Funeral Home with the Rev. James Jobe officiating. Burial will follow at Lower Hodges Cemetery.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, February 9, 2010, at Allen Funeral Home Hurricane, WV.
