Ella Burt Ross Died Wednesday (Wed. Feb. 27th, 1974)
Mrs. Ella Burt Ross, 84 of 63 S. Main St., Cedarville, NJ died at Bridgeton Nursing Home Wednesday morning. Mrs. Ross fell and fractured her hip on Jan 7 and was at Bridgeton Hospital until she was transferred to the nursing home three weeks ago.
Born in Cedarville, she was the daughter of the late B. Frank Burt and Elanora Earl Burt. She was a lifelong resident of Cedarville and had resided at the South Main Street address for 40 years.
Mrs. Ross was a machine operator with the M.C. Schrank Co. for 25 years before her retirement. She was a member of the Cedarville United Methodist Church.
She is survived by a daughter Miss Thelma E. Ross, at home; three sisters, Mrs. Abbie Bowers, and Mrs. Lidie Campbell both of Cedarville and Mrs. Elanora B. Key of Vineland; a brother H. Earl Burt, Fort Lauderdale, FL and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 PM from the Frietag Funeral Home with the burial in the family plot at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Cedarville.
The service will be conducted by Rev. Francis E. Champion pastor of Fortescue Chapel, in the absence of a pastor at Cedarville Methodist Church.
Friends may call Saturday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
