Daily Democrat, Clinton MO, Nov 28 2005 - Mildred Ethelene (Dietz) Breshears, youngest child of Robert and Effie (Breshears) Dietz, was born at Quincy June 22, 1920, and died November 10, 2005, at Golden Valley Hospital in Clinton. Mildred grew up in the Quincy and Harper area and attended school at Union. Mildred had lived in Clinton for about 55 years. On September 28, 1940, Mildred married Dinver Breshears. To this union six children were born, Harold Gene, Wilma Louise, Ronald Dee, Jimmy Lee, Donnie Ray and Lonnie Dale. Mildred was a homemaker and had a talent for crocheting embroidery, making quilts and was a good cook. Most of Mildred's family received homemade gifts from her. Mildred was a loving person to her family and friends, especially her grand- and great-grandchildren. Mildred was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Clifford and wife, Louis Dietz; sisters, Cecil and husband, Lawrence Kennedy, Helen and husband George Wood, Ruby and husband Jake Breshears; a beloved son Donnie, and a daughter-in-law, Cathey Breshears. Mildred is survived by Dinver Breshears; her daughter Louis Rens and husband Jim; four sons, Harold Breshears and wife Wanda, Ronald "Randy" Breshears and wife Annabell, Jimmie Breshears and Christine Bulholzer and Lonnie Breshears and wife Donna; 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, four cousins; one sister-in-law, Alleen Harris; one brother-in-law, Ralph Breshears, several nieces and nephews. Mildred will be missed by all who knew her. Funeral services were held at Vansant-Mills Chapel Saturday, November 12. Burial was in Clinton Memory Gardens Cemetery, Clinton.
