He was born at Chambersburg R. D. 1, Jan 13, 1928, son of Mrs. Sadie Shaffer Bumbaugh and the late Dorman T. Bumbaugh. All of his life was lived at Pond Bank.
Mr. Bumbaugh served with the Army occupation forces in Japan following World War II. Following his discharge from the service, he returned to Letterkenny Army Depot, where he was employed until the time
of his death. Mr. Bumbaugh last worked as an inventory management specialist at the depot.
He and Mrs. Bumbaugh had made their home at the Pond Bank residence since their marriage in March 1948. Mr. Bumbaugh was a member of the Pond Bank Independent Church. In addition to his widow, Mrs. Ruth N. Rock Bumbaugh, he is survived by two children, Curtis D. Bumbaugh and Sandra D. Bumbaugh, both at home, his mother of Chambersburg R D 1, and a brother, Thomas D. Bumbaugh, Chambersburg RD 1.
The funeral will be held Friday at 2 p.m in the Pond Bank Independent Church, in charge of the Rev. John Ritchey and the Rev. Marlin Lehman.
Burial will be made in the Mt Zion Cemetery, Quincy.
