Funeral services for Brad Templeton, 33, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, February 24, 2010, in the Chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Homes of West Monroe, LA. Rev. C.J. Wilson and Rev. Ferrell Bostick will be officiating. Interment to follow at Rocky Branch Cemetery, Rocky Branch, LA under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Homes of West Monroe, LA.
Brad was born April 14, 1976, in Minden, LA and passed away February 20, 2010, in Union Parish.
Brad was preceded in death by his grandparents, James and Coy Stinson and J.E. and Inez Templeton.
Survivors include his parents, Peggy and Dickey Templeton; stepson, Trever Yanna; brother, Gregg Templeton and wife, Kelli; nephew, Andy Templeton; niece, Alexis Templeton and numerous aunts, uncles, family members and friends.
Brad will be remembered as a very outgoing person who never met a stranger. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing. His passion was for rodeo roping. He worked alongside his father, at Templeton Warehouse and Distribution. Brad had strong Christian beliefs and lived his life as such. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Jay Hodge, Justin Brantley, Justin Walters, Wayne Jackson, Gregg Templeton and Casey Brown.
Visitation will be 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M., Tuesday, February 23, 2010, at the funeral home.
