Charles Edward Johnson, a self employed construction worker, died Friday at his home. He was 59. A lifelong resident of Chattanooga, he was of the Protestant faith. Mr. Johnson was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War and a member of the DAV and VFW Post. He was the son of the late Robert and Louise Johnson. Survivors include two sisters, Betty Maynard, Palm Harbor, Fla., and Kay Keith, Cincinnati; a brother, Robert M. Johnson, Chattanooga. A graveside service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. in National Cemetery.
