Leon Eugene Jennings, 88, passed away in Seymour, Wisconsin, Saturday, February 20, 2010. He was born May 12, 1921 in Santa Anna, TX to B.F. Jennings and Nora (Messer) Jennings.
He graduated from Lake View High School in San Angelo, TX in 1939, then went on to receive his THB from Southern Nazarene University in Bethany, OK in 1944. He served 42 years as a minister with the Church of the Nazarene. He served churches in Stafford, KS; Augusta, KS; Shawnee, OK; Guymon, OK; Dodge City, KS; Springfield, MO; and Newton, KS.
Leon is survived by his wife, Mabel; sons Dwight and Dennis Jennings; brother Wesley Jennings; brother-in-law Wilbur Takemier; and 4 grandchildren, Jessica, Matthew, Lauren and Kristin Jennings.
Funeral services Friday, February 26, at Mercer-Adams Chapel, Bethany, OK.
