Born in Dublin 25 July 1900 the eldest son of George Hogan & Margaret Ryan

He had two brothers Andrew and George
Three sisters Bridget, Margaret and Maureen

Tom fought for Irish freedom from Britain as a soldier in in the old IRA during the Irish war of independance and was imprisoned for a time during the Irish civil war.

He emigrated to Australia 1n 1928 and sadly never returned to see Ireland again.

He married Gert Whelan who survived him but has since deceased they had no children.

Tom died in a tragic accident in Woy Woy station on 8th July 1975 aged 74 years. R.I.P.
