The Hart County native was a homemaker, retired from Walmart after 13 years of service, a Baptist and loved the outdoors and her family. She was a daughter of the late Joseph Allen Jewell and Artie Bell Davis Jewell and the wife of the late Mitchell Riordan, who died Nov. 14, 2001. She was preceded in death by a sister, Polly Turner; and three brothers, Nute Jewell, John Henry Jewell and Bully Jewell.
Survivors include a daughter, Gaylon Nash, of Horse Cave; a son, Lanny Riordan, of Canmer; two grandchildren, Angel Tarter and her husband, Rodney, of Shepherdsville, and Tommy Caswell, of Horse Cave; three great-grandchildren, Cody Bruner, Jade Bruner and Chloe Caswell and several nieces and nephews.
