Mrs. Cora Mayes Ahrens, 86, died Sunday night near Springdale where she had made her home for the past three years. She was born May 7, 1875 at Farmington, the daughter of Frank and Curmania Mayes, and resided at Mt. Comfort prior to moving to Springdale.
Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Gladys King, Springdale; two brothers, Pond(or Fred?) Mayes, Fayetteville, and John Mayes, Springdale; two sisters, Mrs. ?ell Harrison, El Reno, Oklahoma, and Mrs. Ethel Klattenburg, Danforth, Illinois; three grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.
Funeral services conducted at Moore's Chapel. Burial in the Farmington Cemetery.
