Auvel Boyd
Auvel E "Jack" Boyd, 84 of 122 Wooldridge Rd. died at 1:01 this morning at Jennie Stuart Medical Center. Services will be at 1 pm Wednesday at Hughart and Beard Funeral home Hopkinsville, with the Revs. Denny Burchett and Greg Humpert officiating and burial in Ridgetop Cemetery, Crofton.
Visitation will be from 4 to 9 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
A native of Christian County, Boyd was born Aug 4, 1908 a son of the late John Nuten and Barbara Ellen Blankenship Boyd. He was retired from the Christian County School System and was a memeber of Trinity Baptist Church.
Two infant Daughters Barbara and Diana Boyd preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife lillian Hunt Boyd, a daughter Helen Boyd Wall, Hopkinsville, a brother, Oscar T Boyd, Hopkinsville, a sister Rosie Burger, Hopkinsville, and three grandchildren and five great grandchildren
