James Fulton Coiner was born near Stanton, Virginia February 23, 1870; passed away at his home near Golden City, October 24, 1940.
He came with his parents to Missouri while a small boy.
He was united in marriage to Maude McCluey, November 24, 1892. To this union were born five children.
His wife and three children survive. James L. of Lena, Kansas; Mrs. Roy Pyeatt of the home address; John R. of Bronaugh; one brother, Lee Coiner also survives.
Orin an infant son preceded him in death.
He was converted at the age of thirteen.
Soon after his marriage he was united with the Cumberland Presbyterian church.
A Christian in every sense of the word. Always anxious to tell others of his Savior. Patiently waiting through years of ill health to be called home. He will be sadly missed by those near and dear to him as well as friends and neighbors.
The funeral sermon was by Rev. C.O. Crockett of Hume, Mo., a personal friend of the deceased, at New Bethel church north of Golden City. G. B. Beeny and sons of Sheldon had charge of the funeral. Pallbearers were sons, grandson, and brother-in-law. Burial in Pippenger cemetery. Contributed.
