Mullins - Patsy Suzette Hooks, 14, daughter of Mrs. C.E. Connelly of Nichols and the late Troy L. Hooks, Jr., died of a heart attack 5 pm Sunday at the home of her grandmother, Mrs. D.R. Ford of the Floyds Community of Horry County.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 3:15 pm at Floyds Methodist Church by Rev. W.E. Walker. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery at Nichols, directed by Meares Funeral Service.

Born in Mullins, she was a member of Floyds Methodist Church and a student at Floyds High School.

Surviving besides her mother and grandmother are her stepfather, C.E. Connelly; her paternal grandmother, Mrs. T.L. Hooks Sr, all of Nichols; two brothers, Chris Hooks and T.L. Hooks III of Nichols; two step-brothers, Jimmy Connelly of Spartanburg and Eugene Connelly of Nichols; a half-sister, Genny Connelly of Nichols; a step-sister, Mrs. P.L. Elvington Jr. of Fair Bluff, N.C.
