Reva A. Nelson, 78, died Friday, February 26, 2010 at Avera Dell Rapids Area Health Center, Dell Rapids. She was born October 6, 1941 at Rutland to Cliff and Anna (Pryor) Webber. She graduated from Madison High School in 1949. After raising her five sons, Reva moved to Colman, SD in 1974 and worked for Sioux Valley Electric. After retiring, she continued to live in Colman. Reva was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, Altar Society and a birthday club. She enjoyed playing cards, bowling, ceramics and embroidery.
Reva is survived by four sons, Mike (Barbara), Westminster, CO, Kerry, Columbus, GA, Kelly (Karol), Aberdeen, MD, Bill (Karen), Columbus, GA; daughter-in-law, Wanda and her husband, Gary Hermanson, Rapid City; 14 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; one sister, Pat (Jim) Broghammer, Colman and many special friends. She was preceded in death by her son, Dan, parents and three sisters, Lorraine, Jean and Dorothy.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 am Monday, March 1, 2010 at St. Peter Catholic Cemetery, Colman, with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation begins at 4:00 pm Sunday at Skroch Funeral Chapel, Colman, with a 6:00 pm scripture service.
