On February 16, at her home on Water St., W. Newton, Pa., Mrs. KATHERINE MARGARET MONATH died, aged 54 years, 6 months and 25 days. She was the eldest daughter of Mrs. Louise Yeakle. In 1868 the deceased was married to Lewis Monath, brother of J.W. Monath, of this city, which union was blessed with six children: Mrs. Annie Pippert; Frederick, Mame, William, Samuel and Frank; three grandchildren; sister, Miss C. Eakle, this city is the only sister.

Mrs. Monath was born and raised in Hagerstown, but fourteen years ago removed with her husband and children to West Newton.
