Clayton was the son of Victor Louis Lindberg and Leona Anita Lee.

He had three brothers: Kermit Charles, Leroy James, and Leo Valeer Emanuel. He also had three half-siblings: Vincent Phillip Clarence, Francis Obed Benjamin, and Irene Clara.

Funeral services for Clayton Wayne Lindberg of Holst Township, were held Sunday, July 7, at 1 o;clock from the Norway Lake Church, Rev. S.L. Swenson of Clearbrook officiating and R.L. Halterman of Clearbrook in charge of arrangements. Interment was made in the Norway Lake Cemetery.
The deceased was born November 24, 1926 in the township of Holst, Clearwater County, and departed this life on July 4, 1935 at the age of 8 years, 8 months and 10 days. The cause of death was pulmonary pneumonia.
The entire span of his life was spent at his home in the township of Holst. He was preceded in death by his mother. Those remaining to mourn his passing are: his father, Victor Lindberg; his brothers, Kermit, LeRoy, Leo, Vincent, and Francis; one grandmother, eight uncles, seven aunts, and many friends. We extend our sympathy to the bereaved family.
