Marjorie Kosar, 74, passed away Monday, October 30, 1995 at Salina Regional Health Center. The daughter of August Julius and Lola Olive Grace Cerveny, she was born December 5, 1920 on a farm north of Ada.

She was united in marriage to Frank E. Kosar April 29, 1937 at Minneapolis. They farmed north of Ada until moving to Salina in 1975. They formerly owned and operated Vita Villa, Ltd. in Salina. He preceded her in death October 27, 1994. Marjorie was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church in Salina and the Z.C.BJ. Lodge, rural Glasco.

Survivors include her daughter Vonda Kosar, Aurora, Colo, and three grandchildren Allison, Jennifer and Trey.

The funeral will be at 2:00 today, Nov. 2, at Shields Funeral Home in Minneapolis with Rev. Glenn Davis officiating. Burial will be in the Bohemian National Cemetery, north of Ada.

The family will receive friend from 7-8:30 p.m. Wednesday evening at the funeral home.

The family suggests memorials to the mission projects of the First Southern Baptist Church, Salina.
