Marion E. Simmons, 78, passed away on January 3, 1999, at her residence. She was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church.
Survivors include her sons, Billy, Joe, Jimmy, Bobby and Tommy Simmons; daughters, Anne Tuten, Libby Norton and Betty O'Connor; brothers, Alton P. and James O. Mattox; sister, Lois Flemming; nineteen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 1 P.M. on Wednesday, Jan. 6, in the chapel of HARDAGE-GIDDENS FUNERAL HOME, 729 S. Edgewood Ave. with Pastor Terry Williamson officiating. Interment to follow in Riverside Memorial Park. Visitation with family from 6-8 P.M. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
