Jesse William Caulk

Jesse William Caulk was born in Saline county near Kipp, Sept. 2, 1887. At an early age his folks moved to Abilene, Kansas, where he spent all his life and lived happily, until June 10, 1926, when he passed away at the age of 39 years, 9 months, 8 days. He is survived by his father, mother, three sisters, three nieces and six nephews, Mr. and Mrs M. M. Caulk, Mrs Mary Elizabeth Caulk, Mrs Ada Gibson, Lincoln, Nebr., James Caulk, Logan, Nebr., Mrs Ray Poland Abilene, Kan., and Hazel, as well as a large circle of friends who will be grieved by his departure. He was a loving son and brother and always loyal to his many relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held from the home Saturday afternoon, June 12, conducter by Rev. Andrews, and burial was made in Abilene cemetery. Pallbearers were Rollin Clemence, Clarence Garten, Fred Barber, Adolph Starr, Charley Sexton and Harold Howland.
