DENISON -- Funeral services are scheduled Saturday at 2 p.m. at Richard Funeral Home in Whitesboro for Mrs Nora Mayo, 58, a former resident of Denton who died Thursday afternoon in Denison Hospital.
Mrs. Mayo, born January 13, 1913 in Colbert, Oklahoma, was a past president of the VFW Auxiliary in Denton.
She was married July 7, 1928 to Hesse mayo in Sherman and lived in Denton 13 years before moving to Denison in 1970.
After the officiation, the burial will follow in Whitesboro Cemetery.
