On Sunday, Oct. 3, Leon H. Abbott died at his home, 800 Lincoln Ave., at the age of 68 years, and the funeral occurred on Tuesday last from the residence, at 10:30 o'clock a.m., the Rev. C. L. Attridge, rector of St. Matthias church, officiating. The deceased leaves surviving, besides his widow, a son, Irving, and a daughter, Mrs. Emma Lyman, of Florida.
Mr. Abbott was a brother of the late Geo. H. Abbott, and of Emma Abbott Wetherell, famous as a singer, and whose death occurred a score of years ago.
Mrs. Lyman, who was named for her aunt, is also gifted as a singer and prior to her marriage and removal to the south, delighted many Wisconsin audiences.
