Myron "Bud" Lavern Frick, 95, of Red Wing passed away Sunday, February 28, 2010 at his residence at Potter's Ridge.

Bud was born April 2, 1914 in Red Wing to Lloyd and Lillian (Munson) Frick. He graduated from Red Wing High School, where he was on the 1933 State Championship Team. He married Florence "Midge" Wiberg on May 28, 1939 at Svea Lutheran Church. Bud held various jobs including owning Frick's Thrift Store, working as an accountant at S.B. Foot Tanning Co., and at the Swedish Institute in Minneapolis. Bud and Midge moved to Hastings in 1968 and after Midge passed away Bud returned to Red Wing. Bud was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, YMCA, and the Red Wing Country Club. He enjoyed woodworking, golfing, and being with his family.

Bud is survived by his three sons, Dave (Hazel) of Antioch, CA, Tom (Margaret) of Cudahy, WI, Steve of Antioch, CA; grandchildren Todd (Tabetha), Kate, Adam (Gloria), Meghan; great-grandchildren, Zachary, Dylan, Lucas, Adam, Katie, Aaron, and Tatyana; sister-in-law, Helen Sabean; brother-in-law, Leslie Wiberg. He was preceded in death by his wife, Midge; and sister, Delores Hall.
